Scuba diving courses for beginners and advanced divers are conducted by highly qualified instructors following the SSI standards. After the course you will receive an internationally recognized scuba certificate.

For beginners

Introduction dives - dive into a new world!
Requirements: minimum age 8 years

Never tried scuba diving before, but you would like to?? Great, we have a solution for you! We can offer you the introduction dive, a suitable and easy way to learn diving, lasting about 2 hours. Adults and kids alike can participate, and get to know a new world this way. Our friendly and multilingual instructors will be happy to explain to you the basics of scuba diving during a short briefing. Your first dive will be from the shore, just in front of the dive center, to a maximum depth of 5m, in perfect conditions for a beginner. Diving will open the doors into a new world for you, and you will get to know beautiful fish, snails, crabs, seahorses etc. We are confident you will surface with a smile on your face. Get ready for your first breath under water, The feeling is thrilling. You can book your introductory dive immediatelly, or visit us at the dive center to book a day or two in advance. Our diving team is happily waiting for you :)
SSI Scuba Diver Course
Requirements: minimum age 10 years

The SSI Scuba Diver is a short version of the SSI Open Water Diver Course. In case you don't have enough time, but you would like to become a diver, this might be the perfect choice for you! You need 2 days, including 3 knowledge development presentations and 3 confined water dives, and 2 open water dives to a depth of maximum 12m. This way you become a certified SSI Scuba Diver. Now you can discover the unique under water world under the supervision of a divemaster or dive instructor. For this course you do not need any prior diving experience. Finally, to upgrade until the SSI Open Water Diver all you need is 2 days more of training, in any SSI licenced dive center world wide at any time in the future.
SSI Open Water Diver Course
Requirements: minimum age 10 years

The SSI Open Water Diver Course is world wide the most popular and most recognized scuba program. It represents the complete beginners scuba training course, and takes approx. 3 to 4 days. During 6 knowledge development presentations and 6 confined water dives you will learn the basics of scuba diving. After that, you will take part in 4 open water dives to a maximum depth of 18m, repeating the already learned skills. This way you get your SSI Open Water Diver certificate, a lifetime internationally recognized diving licence. Now you can discover the under water world together with a dive buddy, although it is still highly recommended to dive under the supervision of a divemaster or dive instructor, until you put some more dives under your belt and become more experienced. Also, for this course you do not need to be prior certified as a Scuba Diver, nor do you need any dive experience.
General conditions
General conditions for all scuba diving activities are: good fitness, swimming skills, and health. Please read the medical questionnaire. If you answer 'YES' to any of the questions, you will need to provide a valid medical attest from a certified physician prior to any scuba activities. Please download the medical attest below, or get it at the dive center directly. 

For Advanced Divers

SSI Advanced Adventurer Course
Duration: 2-3 days
Requirements: minimum age 10 years and (Junior) Open Water Diver

Exploration, excitement, experience – this is what the SSI Advanced Adventurer is all about. This course builds on the Open Water Diver and will provide you with additional skills and much more knowledge, building up your confidence. You don't have to be be advanced to participate - it is designed to advance your diving, so you can start right after your SSI Open Water Diver certification. In total it consists of 5 dives including the related theory. You choose five from special activities like night diving, wreck diving, peak performance buoyancy, search and recovery, boat diving and many more. Being certified as an Advanced Adventurer gives you opportunities to have fun in new ways up to a maximum depth of 30 meters (if one of your chosen dives is deep diving).
SSI Diver Stress & Rescue
Duration: 3-4 days
Requirements: minimum age 12 years and (Junior) Advanced Open Water Diver, React Right course not older then 2 years

The SSI Diver Stress & Rescue course is known as the most challenging, yet it is the most rewarding. In this course you will expand your knowledge and experience even more. Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and prevent and manage problems in the water. This course prepares you to deal with dive emergencies, minor and major, using a variety of techniques. Through knowledge development with the Rescue Manual, online learning, and rescue exercises in the water, you learn what to look for and how to respond. During rescue scenarios, you put into practice your knowledge and skills. Although this course is really serious, it still allows to have a lot of fun between the focused learning.

Topics include:
• Self rescue
• Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
• Emergency management and equipment
• Rescuing panicked divers
• Rescuing unresponsive divers
SSI React Right Course
Duration: 1 day

One of the prerequisites for the SSI Diver Stress & Rescue certification is a recent participation in first aid training including CPR. Alternatively, you can choose to participate in our SSI React Right course. This course focuses on confidence in lay rescuers and increasing their willingness to respond when faced with a medical emergency. Take this course and learn to respond on medical emergencies, not only for diving, but in your every day life as well.

Specialities

SSI Enriched Air – NITROX
Requirements: minimum age 10 years and (Junior) Open Water Diver

The Enriched Air Diver course is the most popular speciality scuba course and it is easy to see why. Scuba diving with enriched air nitrox gives you more no decompression dive time, especially on repetitive scuba dives. You’ll learn why diving with air that has higher oxygen and lower nitrogen content gives you more bottom time, along with enriched air equipment considerations.

During a practical session you’ll:
• Discuss managing oxygen exposure.
• Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank.
• Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air nitrox.
SSI Navigation (2 dives)
Requirements: minimum age 10 years and (Junior) Open Water Diver

You want to be the diver everyone wants to follow? Easy. Take the SSI Navigation course and always know where you are and where you are going. Finding your way is not a matter of luck, because as a navigator you will always find your way back. You’ll learn the tools of the trade, including navigation using natural clues and by following compass headings.

During scuba dives, you’ll practice:
• Methods to estimate distance underwater.
• Compass navigation while making at least five turns.
• Marking or relocating a submerged object or position from the surface.
• Underwater map making.
SSI Perfect Buoyancy (2 dives)
Requirements: minimum age 10 years and (Junior) Open Water Diver

Scuba divers like to be neutrally buoyant so they neither sink nor float. Divers who have mastered the highest performance levels in buoyancy stand apart. Have you seen them underwater? They glide effortlessly, use less air, and ascend, descend or hover, with ease. They enjoy the marine life easily without disturbing their surroundings. You too can achieve this in the SSI Perfect Buoyancy course in no time at all.

During two scuba dives you’ll learn how to:
• Determine the exact amount of weight you need, so you’re not too light or too heavy.
• Trim your weight system and scuba gear so you’re perfectly balanced in the water.
• Streamline to save energy, use air more efficiently and move more smoothly through the water.
• Hover effortlessly in any position – vertical or horizontal.
SSI Night & Limited Visibility (2 dives)
Requirements: minimum age 10 years and (Junior) Open Water Diver

If you ever wondered what happens underwater after the sun goes down, sign up for the SSI Night and limited visibility Specialty course. Although you saw this dive site many times before, this time you drop into a whole new world and watch it come to life under the glow of your dive light. Scuba diving at night teaches you to focus on what you can see in your light's beam, to control your buoyancy with ease, to always stay close to your buddy, and to pay attention to details you may have overlooked during the day.

During two night dives, you’ll practice:
• Light handling and communication techniques.
• Entering, exiting and navigating in the dark.
• Identifying how plants and animals differ or change behaviour at night.
SSI Deep Diving (3 dives)
Requirements: minimum age 16 years and Open Water Diver

After a few dives as a certified scuba diver, you soon want to explore a bit deeper. There is something exciting and mysterious about the depth that attracts divers. To scuba dive with confidence at depths to 40 meters, you must be sure what to do and how to act. This is what SSI Deep Diving course teaches you. Your training starts by reviewing reasons for deep diving and how important it is to know your personal limits.

During three deep dives with your instructor, you’ll go over:
• Specialized deep diving equipment.
• Deep dive planning, buddy contact procedures and buoyancy control.
• Managing your gas supply, dealing with gas narcosis and safety considerations.
SSI Wreck Diving (2 dives)
Requirements: minimum age 16 years and Deep Diving

Wrecks are something what gives us a unique opportunity to enter the past and live it in a special way. Some wrecks are sunk on purpose, some just had a sad destiny, but all of them open a fascinating window to the past. The SSI Wreck Diving course teaches you how to enjoy remarkable moments while being a responsible wreck diver. Your training starts by reviewing guidelines for researching and respecting wrecks.

During two dives you’ll learn:
• Safety considerations for navigating and exploring wrecks.
• Surveying and mapping a wreck.
• Using penetration lines and reels to guide exploration.
• Techniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants.
For all who want to complete the classroom portion before their holiday.

General requirements

General requirements for all diving programs: physical fitness, swimming skills and health. Please read the health statement of SSI. If you have to answer YES to any of the questions, you must have a competent doctor check and get a medical certificate before you attend any diving activities. Take this certificate to check in at the dive center.
